Are you looking to try something new when it comes to your health?

Sometimes knowing what to expect ahead of time can help make the decision and put your mind at ease. While conditions and treatments may vary, some aspects of your first couple of visits may be the same for everyone.

Let’s Get Started

To get a jump on some of the new patient paperwork, you can download the forms from the box at right and fill them out at home. If you do, please bring the completed forms with you to your appointment.

On your first visit, allow yourself a little extra time in case there’s additional paperwork or we need to clarify any of your information.

What Are Your Health Goals?

Once the paperwork is complete, you’ll meet with Dr. Shull for a consultation. Together the two of you will discuss your medical history, your current condition and previous treatments so he has some idea of what your goals are.

After the consultation you’ll receive a thorough examination to determine the source of your problem. X-rays will be taken if the doctor thinks they are necessary.

Depending on your condition and what Dr. Shull discovers during the examination, you may receive physical therapy or an adjustment on the first visit.

If you don’t receive treatment your first day it’s because Dr. Shull wants some extra time to review the results of your examination before proceeding with a treatment plan.

Any treatment you receive will be done in a private room and your first visit usually lasts about an hour.

Your Second Visit

What to Expect at Shull Chiropractic Clinic, PLLC

Our comfortable waiting area

If you didn’t receive treatment on your first visit, Dr. Shull will take some time on your second visit to go over his report of findings.

During that time he’ll tell you what the X-rays or tests revealed and how he thinks you should proceed. Then you’ll begin treatment.

In this situation your visit probably lasts about 45 minutes. Otherwise the length of your visit depends on the techniques and treatments used; usually between 15 and 45 minutes.
