Journey of Becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic

eric-and-dad-athletes-corner“My name is Eric Shull and I am a senior at Milligan College where I have been studying Biology/Pre-Med and running cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track. I have enjoyed success in my long distance running career at Franklin County High School and Milligan College. So far I am the only male to ever qualify for state in cross country at FCHS. My collegiate career consists of being a part of two NAIA cross country national qualifying teams. In my younger years I was part of a USATF 4×100 national qualifying team called the Tennessee Cheetahs. I have been receiving chiropractic care from my dad, Dr. Kurt Shull, ever since I was born. I am convinced that the chiropractic care and healthy lifestyle from a young age is one of the key reasons I have been able to run at a relatively high level for almost ten years with minimal injuries. My Dad and the health benefits of chiropractic has inspired me to follow in his footsteps and pursue a career in chiropractic. I have been accepted to Life University in Marietta, Ga where I will begin my journey of becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic.” Eric Shull

I am Able To Walk With No Pain Now

Russell (Russ) Marr is a former college basketball player who holds the scoring record at his university alma mater. He just completed his first season of professional basketball in Ireland!

My condition that I am dealing with is a minor disc bulge and piriformis syndrome which are both putting pressure on my nerve, causing pain all down my left leg. I am on month 11 dealing with these conditions. Some things I have tried prior to chiropractic treatment here at Shull Chiropractic Clinic, PLLC, were rest and stretching. It was hard for me to rest due to being a collegiate basketball player. After about 3 months of having the conditions, it had gotten to the point where I couldn’t walk without limping every step. I couldn’t do anything basketball-wise, not even shooting free throws without being in pain. Since my start of chiropractic care here at Shull Chiropractic Clinic, I have had a ton of relief in my back and nowhere close to as much nerve pain as what I did have. I have been able to play my entire basketball season without missing a game. I am able to walk with no pain now. Shull Chiropractic care has done an amazing job about understanding my conditions and knowing what needs to be done to get the best relief for me possible.
